Default 07 Stock PDS value

Hello all,

I have been lurking for a while but have not posted. I currently have a 04 Precedent and love it. My current issue is I am looking for a cart that I can buy for my elderly mother to use to get outside and move around a bit, her kids would be doing the driving we just want her to enjoy being outside and she is in a wheelchair most of the time.

I have found a stock 07 PDS with 07 batts and a charger. I have yet to see the cart so I have a bit of inspecting to do but the asking price is $1600.00. Is this a fair price for this model, are they decent carts. I do not see me doing much modifying to this cart and I realize it may need batteries soon, I am just looking for some info to go on.

Here in Florida, I'd buy a '07 PDS for that $$$ almost sight unseen.....

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I paid $1800 for my '07 PDS with '09 batteries.

Paid $1400.00 in IN for '07 with '07 batteries. Just a note. The batteries would charge to 80% when I bought in May. Bought a desulfator and after 2 months charges to 100%.

Thanks for the quick input. I did go ahead and purchase the cart and did a little better than the original asking price.
The cart is nothing fancy but seems to be sound and came with the red speed chip installed. It does have some corrosion at the bottom of the battery tray but I assume this happens often.

My mom loves it so I hope it will hold up for a while.

What desulfator did you use?

BLS is what I bought. They are on Ebay and have their own site. I know it sounds like "snake oil" but for $140.00 if I can get a couple of years out of the batteries. Cart is in FL, I'll let you know more on how they hold up when we go back for the winter.

Based on your use pull that speed chip out and the cart will work better and longer in the standard all terrain mode.

Do I need to replace it with a stock chip or just pull the speed chip out?
