Default 16 hp briggs

Hi i have a chance to buy a 16 hp twin briggs and stratton engine i was wondering if i should snatch it up i can get it for probably less than $100 how difficult are these engine to make work for a g 9 cart and would it be worth it? It is electric start guy says it has compression and spark just wanted some opinions thanks

Is it horizonal or vertical output? What size is the shaft??

Ummm. Let me think for a minute. HE77 YEA!!!

And, if you don't want it, I'll buy it for less than $200 from you!

Look, you can't even buy a 16 HP china made crap engine for less than $380 with a starter!

Check the compression though - should have a minimum of 155-160PSI.

Is it easy to install in a cart? Well, I can't say its going to be easy, but well worth it!

It is horizontal shaft i am going to meet the guy on friday to check it out he assures me it has good compression and spark but didn't say it ran? Maybe carb problem..not sure of the shaft size i will find out on friday i am working late all this week so friday is the soonest i can get there..hopefully he will still have it..
