Default Motor info

I already put a alltrax 500 controller in my 2014 precedent and this thing moves along pretty well. I can get 25mph out of it on the flat 28 down hill with windshield up and a large mammal in the passenger seat 300 plus pounds. It takes quite a bit of time to get there. If i upgraded the motor what could I expect to see performance wise. I am looking at the AMD 7144 would it really make that much difference. I am happy with the top speed 25 is plenty with the stock brakes. Has anyone upgraded the controller first and then the motor and thought i was not worth the money to change out the motor.

It's definitely worth the money. Essentially all you've done so far is put a really big carburetor on a really small engine.

Lots of people went with the controller and later did the motor. I have on a few sepex and series carts.

Find you the motor of your choice, D&D, Admiral, FSIP, or Plum Quick. You will find a Sepex to fit your needs.

If I didn't have hills to go up I would probably still have my PQ Bandit with my XCT500. I now have an AMD7144 w/the XCT500.
