Default amf

Can get this cart free. Can I get parts It was running when a battery blew up.I know nothing about Harley(AMF) carts. Are they desirable? Worth spending money on? Thanks

It looks pretty far gone in my opinion. While it is free, if it is electric you will have over 700 in batteries. Just to see if there is more issues. The floor boards are gone, body needs work, etc. I would pass or strip and sell off the parts for some extra cash.

Steve , Where are you located ? If you decide to take this cart , and part it out , I am looking for a rear end out of this model . It does look pretty rough , as mentioned , after expense of batteries , the electrics can add up also , depending what is needed . I am in Michigan .

WOW , so much for " just dropping by to check it out " . But thanks for letting me know . Mine is a 1980 model MGIV 8D . I really like it , since it is hardly any noise when driving . You might get lucky and just replace the blown battery or more , since it "was" running . Do a check on the other batteries , and go from there . Good luck with it , I would take it if it were me .

Hi! I just bought one running not in to bad a shape paid $400.00 for it but it's really different from all the rest I have. Has a much longer wheel base then any I have pretty fast also? But I think it's a fixer upper. good luck to you on yours I think I will sell this one when I work on it a little bit new wire's and such. Joe100
