everlasting turn signal failure
hi and i really would appreciate help from the forum.
out of the blue , on fully charged batteries , the red middle indicator light remained on. there is a black wire secured to the hose clamp that holds the unit to the column. when i loosened the clamp the wire lost contact and the light went out. if i reattached the wire the light went on. the turn signals do not function. if i move the lever left and right ,the rear lights illuminate. the brake lights also work when the brake is engaged. the front turn lights do not illuminate under any scenario. is the ' everlasting ' switch faulty or do i need to investigate a wiring problem? all wiring connections appear intact and clean. the unit has worked with no problem for years , and suddenly this problem occurred. thanks for reading the post. |

Re: everlasting turn signal failure
The first problem is that there should be nothing wired to the chassis ground. That black wire should be going to B-.
