Default Precedent headlight alternatives?

We often are out after dark in our Precedent on local roads. I can’t stand the cyclops headlight bar. Not only is it dim, but it’s confusing for other drivers. It’s hard to figure out what the hell is coming at you and how far off it is when there is just one light close to the ground. We have lots of tourist unfamiliar with the roads and often coming back with a few drinks in them, so for safety I’d love to go to some type of double headlight so it’s obvious it’s a vehicle and you can better judge the distance. Has anybody done this? I used to have a Kawasaki Mule UTV and it’s headlights were not built into the cowl. They were on brackets and were easily adjustable. Maybe an after market cowl?

The alpha cowl for the precedent has dual built in headlights.

In my opinion I personally think it’s kinda ugly but they’re very popular

I’m in a similar situation as I don’t like/want the cyclops headlight either and want something higher up and brighter.

I haven’t done anything yet, but the options I have come up with are:
-Drill holes through the front cowl anywhere and mount whatever lights that way,
-A wider brighter generic light bar either where the ‘club car’ decal is or under the roof mounted between the roof supports, this doesn’t give the dual light look you’re after,
-Individual lights on either side mounted to the roof supports,
-Add a tube bumper and mount lights to that.
-An aftermarket cowl as mentioned.

I’m leaning towards the tube bumper option, there are a number out there of various designs, I might just make my own.

Brush guard with some light tabs welded on is probably your best bet. Couple of 4” leds will definitely light things up.

Agreed with the brush guard. Often you can mount at least 2 lights, sometimes more.
And you can mount any kind of LED pod or Fog/Driving/Spot light combo you want.

Be sure to mount some tail lights as well so people don't run over you from behind.

x2 on the tail lights. I just upgraded my headlight and immediately regretted not doing those at the same time.

I bought a curved LED lightbar from eBay or Amazon for less than $50 and it fit perfectly to the stock bumper - just had to drill a couple of mounting holes and run the wire. The bumper is sturdy enough so that the light doesn't bounce around and the lightbar really lights up the night.

That looks pretty to me
Got a link to the one you got, or recall what length it was?

I drilled a through hole one each corner of my canopy on my 2004 Precedent and used the above set of lights.

I bought it years ago so it's no longer in my eBay history, but I think it was around 36-inches. I'll try to remember to measure it tonight.
