Default Underbody LED kit to one battery or a converter?

I am installing an underbody LED kit o my RXV.

The LED kit came with a converter that states to connect it to the positive of the first battery and the negative to the last battery.

The headlights / rear lights are installed to one of the 4 - 12v Batteries - no converter.

Should I use the converter and install both to the converter or just install the kit to another 12v battery?

I don’t do a lot of night time driving.

It’s always better to spread the draw across the pack as a whole than off of only one battery. All accessories are best through the reducer.
