Maybe you'll see it at the upcoming Golf Cart Nationals.

New Energizer batteries and this thing is cruising in style! The charger works great too...

Got the seats removed today. I went in with the plan to just get them recovered, but there was actually a metal plate under the foam that was rusted badly and the foam was disintegrating. Not to mention the foam was completely waterlogged from the rips in the vinyl, adding about 30 lbs a piece to the weight of the cart.
I'm thinking about making it easy and buying two white boat seats... stay tuned.

Pretty typical for these old carts. I'd vote for the boat seats as well.

I think it's going to be easier than trying to get wood and new foam. These old seats have a unique angled sides that would make it tough...

Got a lot done on this thing the past couple of days. Completely waxed the fiberglass body, polished all the chrome (including the baby moons, which I installed ), back-to-blacked the trim pieces, and bent the front bumper back into place. It all cleaned up very nicely.
I found two white boat seats locally that fit perfect. Haven't installed them yet, but I set one on the passenger's side to show how they'll look.
