1989 Columbia Par Car Restoration project
This is the first attempt I have made at restoring an old cart and loved every minute of it. I had help from my father in law and brother in law. Total man hours: 30-40. If you have any questions or comments, please ask. I took alot of good information from this site to complete this project. I will post more detailed pics if requested.

Very nicely done!! Cart looks really good. I like the camo and how it is trimmed in black!! Do you have anymore plans? I would lift the back end a little and put on some off road tires. Good job on the cart!!

Re: 1989 Columbia Par Car Restoration project
I have looked into fabricating a lift kit as well as putting on larger tires but for now the only mods to be completed are head lights/tail lights, stereo, horn, herculine the club area, cooler holder and put a windshield on. I also need to replace the secondary clutch and am in the process of looking for a used one. I believe a secondary will fit from a 1981-1991.

Nice job. I just got this same cart a few weeks ago. White, with back seat, and roof.

Re: 1989 Columbia Par Car Restoration project
Hello Everyone!
I am considering selling this cart now to start over and make another similar to it just a bit newer. How much should I expect to sell it for? Any opinions, thoughts are appreciated. Thanks |

almost forgot to mention I am rebuilding the motor completely as well. Has a new secondary clutch and the primary is in great condition yet.
