Default 1996 G16 Looking pretty

Have had this cart since 2015.. Finally got around to making it look nice. I have cheap seat covers on it now. I will put in new vinyl when these cheap covers wear out.

Kids voted on the blue. The top got painted black, and the aluminum rails were powdered coated.

Put new struts in and changed the kingpin bushings (the bushings were gone)

I did all of the work minus the actual spraying of the paint. I did all of the prep work and sanding. I got lucky, the old paint bubbled up and came right off with some paint stripper, filler was used for the deep scratches.. I am very impressed with how good the paint job came out.

That looks good! What kind of stripper did you use on the paint. From the factory are they actually painted my front cowl has cracked and missing white paint I just assumed someone painted it after it left the factory being the plastic was white as well?

I use klean strip brand aerosol stripper. You can get it at walmart, 13 bucks a can or so. Stuff works great. Spray it on, let it sit for 10 minutes and then blast it all off with a pressure washer.

I’ll give it a try I assumed any chemical stripper was gonna damage these bodies! Thanks for the tip!
