Default Adhesion promoter

I am in the process of painting a G19 body. It will require quite a bit of primer. Do I need to apply the adhesion promoter before primer of just before paint is apllied. Thanks

Apply the adhesion promoter before primer.

My paint guy had me mix the adhesion promoter in with the primer, then the flex additive in with the single stage enamel paint.

The adhesion promoter has to go on first. It slightly softens the plastic so the primer will bite in and stick.

If the primer is sanded thru in a few places duirng the 600 grit final sanding, do I need to apply additional promoter, spot prime before top coating? Thanks

I just painted mine and I was told to reapply promoter and primer if you sand thru.

Revo is correct, any time you see bare plastic you must re apply the promoter to that area.
