Default 2012 Ezgo RXV 48 Volt 3rd motor brake

I have a 2012 Ezgo RXV 48Volt that has had some bad luck with motor brakes.
Is there a way to trouble shoot the voltage spike or something why this keeps happening. The motor brakes that have been installed are not the oem, but aftermarket ones. I know this could be the problem but just wanted to ask before I send it to the Ezgo Dealer in my area. Any help is greatly appreciated.

One common thing that will shorten the life of the brake is overnightening the three mounting bolts. Are the bolts clean so the disc can slide freely?

Aftermarket brakes are a gamble. Here's the installation instructions. Good luck.

Also important to know, if aftermarket brake, do NOT choose a HD version, it's critical especially with the Danaher controller.

An aftermarket brake on a Danaher cart has never worked very long for me. I think the record is a couple of weeks. Replace it with an OEM brake and tighten the three bolts to 55-60 in lbs and you'll be good to go in my opinion.
