Question 2017 EZGO Express S4 - No Clicking and No Status Light

I have a 2017 EZGO Express S4, 48 volt electric and not gas. I was preparing to install a radio and was looking for a switched hot wire. I removed the ignition switch and I accidentally touched the key switch white/yellow wire to ground with the power on. I heard a click and now I have no power and no click. I checked every single fuse I could find and all are fine.

Here are some additional things:

The headlights, taillights and horn work fine.
The battery voltage indicator no longer works.
There is NO click at the solenoid when the pedal is pressed.
There is a an LED status light on the Curtis motor controller, but there are no lights on at all; not blinking or steady, nothing.
Battery voltage is fine.

The cart worked perfectly before I started this process.

My immediate thought was a fuse because of the sound that I heard, but all that I can find are good.

Thoughts?

I did not get this fixed. Well I guess I did, but it required a controller and solenoid replacement. I replacement mine with an Alltrax 48400.

However, I now have a new problem. When I switch to forward, the cart moves slightly in REVERSE then stops. When I move the switch to reverse, the cart does not move at all.

I have checked the connections three times and all are correct.

If it's not clicking, I would check for voltage on the far side of the solenoid. put a meter on it and turn the key to ON. If nothing on the that side, move back to the other side of the solenoid. I don't know how to test the speed controller, so do with that what you will.
