Default The start of a G8 big block install

Started the install, of a 18HP Briggs Vanguard in a running G8. I bought a Comet 380, and Dayco HP2011, 45" long, 1.188 W. As I want the engine, to fit under the seat, at stock height. SOOO_ some custom fitting was needed. I also want this to be quiet!! So rubber idolators are needed. The plan is to lift by 6", and have kit in ha[ATTACH]

As you can see, it is rubber mounted. Adjustable 2" for belt adjustment, as well as side to side, for close alignment. It is flush with the bottom of the frame. The skid plate will be rubber mounted next.

slonomo, I am getting to the end of my build. But still have not decided on a muffler yet??.Ive been looking into fabing my own. The stock exhaust had a lot of back pressure. So much that running the engine without any exhaust, it barely stays running! too lean!. I bent up some header pipes, and made flanges, I like the Thermo King Muffler you suggested. Any numbers would be great.

The one I ended up with was from Tractor Supply.
