Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
Could never understand why they didn't correct the wire placement. Even with the stock motor I could feel the acceleration quicken and more torque. I did have one that would not reach 23 mph. Look forward to your GPS/ radar gun speed test.

Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
I suspect they had 1 million copies printed before they found out. I will ask on Monday. We have had some Ezgo and CC too that did not quite reach 22-23 advertised speed. But as you know, there about 10 variables that factor into the actual top speed. My cart hit 22 mph.

Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
22 sounds about right for stock Hitachi motor. The older models (G19-22) would do 24 with stock GE motor.

Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
You got room for two more, put 8 8s in there and bump the voltage up!

Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
Looks like two perfect places for an on board charger and DC reducer.

Re: Scottyb bought a Yamaha
Hee hee
One thing surprises me about the cart. It rides rough off the street compared to the other guys. I thought it would be nice with the wishbone front and coilover rears. |
