I would like to remove mine all together now that I know it's not needed.

Thanks!
What did you do with the main negative wire that comes from the pack negative, goes thru the hole in the obc, and connects to the controller?

I have the large black wire from the charging receptacle that goes to the OBC and then I have a small grey wire that also goes from the charging receptacle somewhere. I have not touched either of those wires...only tried bypassing the white to the blue for the OBC lockout bypass at the OBC to cart connector. In the forums it looks like some are taking the OBC end of the black wire and running it to the negative on the battery pack and the cutting the gray wire and leaving it deadheaded. I was wondering what you specifically did to remove yours with all the wires that need addressed? Thanks!

That might be your issue. The obc isn't sensing a charge and it locks the controller. Cut the battery end of the heavy gauge black wire and pull it through the obc. Put a new hd ring terminal on the end, or replace the cable if needed and connect it to the pack negative. I completely removed the charging port harness and obc all as one. I cut the obc end of the small gauge wire harness and connected the blue/white wires. Then put heat shrink on the end of the remaining wires and plugged it back into the harness.

Ok. Thanks. I'll give that a whirl.
