Default Trash Can Carrier?

Anyone ever made one of these for their cart? I'm struggling to get my two trash cans to the end of my 150 foot gravel/ice driveway on Sunday nights. This thing looks cool, but expensive. Any thoughts?

Found another type, might be an option. I think the one that lifts the can off the ground might be too much weight with both cans on it, but it would work with one can. I happen to have two cans, and they get heavy by the end of the week. Guessing 75 lbs or more each? 150 lbs on the hitch would be a lot, but I think it would handle it.

The Can Caddie literally drags the cans, which would work too!

Have you considered a Hitch Haul? Might have to make two trips with the cans and you can also use the Hitch Haul for your car/truck.

As long as you hook to the hook points on the can you won't ever damage the cans.I would make one that hooks them, then a lever to lift them a bit if your driveway is rough.Otherwise just hook and go.

Jim, yeah I've considered that, but that will require lifting the cans up on top of the platform. Sometimes these cans can be over 200 lbs fully loaded. I'm a contractor so sometimes job related trash gets filed into these containers. Even with 8-9 household bags they can weigh over 100 lbs. And with my herniated disc, kinds makes it risky.

Good thought though!

I think I'm leaning toward the type that drags the cans as opposed to lifting them off the ground. Not saying the cart couldn't handle the weight, but dragging them seems a lot easier.

Never knew stuff like this existed! LOL I'd have bought one years ago!!!
