Re: EZ-Go is catching up.. They have a lowering kit out
I finally installed mine on my Gas powered TXT last weekend. It works fine, you can't install the rear lowering blocks because the engine would hit the seat but you can definitely drop the front. My only issue: one of the three holes on the rack and pinion was not in alignment.

Re: EZ-Go is catching up.. They have a lowering kit out
Has anyone installed the lowering kit from ezgo on a txt with 205x30-14 wheels and the headlights that you have to cut in the front cowl? I read that with that lowering kit and those wheels you can't put those type of headlights because the wheels will hit the light housing. I used to run those wheels and headlights with my front leaf springs flipped, which was around a 2" drop, and didn't have a problem. But supposedly the ezgo kit is a 3" drop. I just ordered the lowering kit and wanted to know if this was true or not because I don't want to have to switch to the front light bar instead of the cut-in headlights. Any input is appreciated.

I don't think it will work with the cut in headlights. My buddy told me that last week.
