Default 2008 precedent i2 gas... Rev Limiter help!

Me and my friend did the govenor mod as described in the stickies so its moving freely. Since then It will cut off at a certain RPM and its really annoying. Sometimes back fires if I dont let off the pedal for awhile

I have looked for this said ground wire too but I dont have a clue...

Nice cart! and, Welcome to BGW!

IMO... a FULLY disabled govenor is not a good idea!
(over reving WILL blow your engine! and it WILL over rev!)

A number of CC owners here, (including myself) have their rev limiters disabled,
and hopefully... have their RPM's set to 4200 MAX! (FE350)
which you can't do with the govenor fully disabled!

Soooo... I will decline telling you how to disable the Rev Limiter,
until I know that you've reset your govenor so it won't go over the max rpm's!

and I'm hoping other members will follow suit!

Sorry!

Great point!

The thing for me is... I zip tied my govenor spring, and was able to adjust it accordingly!
I've never really messed with the govenor shaft/arm itself!

although... I do have a few pages from my manual to help reset it!

Will that work G?

Yes this is mine, and I have had it for about 2 months. Parents found a great deal on it in Asheville! So technically it is theirs lol. We are moving to Florida soon in Ft. Myers so we wanted a cart for the beach.

I also found the electric box. Thanks.
