Lowering 6” lift
My G16 came with a Jakes or Rhox 6" lift & the back is noticeably higher than the front, I'm thinking about cutting about an inch off of the rear lift-frame to make it less pronounced & am curious if anyone has done this or if I might run into an unforeseen issue. (I'm running 10" wheels with 22" tires)

Re: Lowering 6” lift
Never done it, but if it's a heavy gauge metal bracket it should be ok, provided you have decent fab/weld skills. Definitely don't want to get it crooked or have poor surface welds that could break.
If you have any good photos that might help. |

Re: Lowering 6” lift
Basically I would just cut an inch off of the ends that are circled

Re: Lowering 6” lift
I ended up cutting 2" off that lift frame, that with the HD springs seems to be just right.
