Default Introduction - Golf Cart Graveyard

Good afternoon,

I recently moved (I live in the Augusta, Ga area) and am cleaning up what was one man's personal golf cart (etc.) junk yard. I'm not a golf cart expert myself, more of a metal and wood worker, but I do like to see things restored and used rather than scrapped. I'm mostly looking for help identifying and valuing the various bits and pieces and deciding what should be scrapped and what should be sold. About 16 tons of the outside storage is already gone, but most of it was straight trash, things like seats left out in the rain for 20 years and rotted out EZGO frames (I did have several local shops inspect it).

This is my home, so I'm not interested in a lot of foot traffic, but I'm open to talk if you have a specific need or you're interested in lots. Especially if you can send me a picture of what you're looking for. Most everything seems to be in the 80s - early 2000s time period. I'd be happy to ship or meet locally. Things I know I have are: front and rear ends, carburetors, some trim, clutches, electric motors, seats, a few body panels, a few Club Car frames, and a ton of basket brackets. No gas engines, no batteries, no windshields, no complete carts. Most of what is left has been stored dry.

I may also ask a few questions about my Gator 6x4 from time to time.

Cheers,

Paul

The intentionally not mentioned part . I'm not trying to be rude here, we have had a number of unsolicited visitors and I thought I was going to have to sedate my wife. Its within 20 miles of downtown Augusta.

Fair enough and didn’t want you to disclose exactly where but 20 miles from downtown could be near me in Aiken or 40 miles away in Grovetown. Anyway if I think of anything I need I will reach out.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives’, husbands, girlfriend’s and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
