Default My Bushman Cart

Hey guys,

Wanted to share my latest purchase. Picked it up cheap from my neighbor who recently moved. The cart certainly does need some work, so was hoping to post photos of repairs etc here.

Can’t find much info about them, but seems like a local company here in South Africa brought them in.

Work needed;

-2 battery terminals are melted and will need repair if I do not end up just replacing batteries.
-Charger input has melted, will replace unit.
-The cart shudders at low speed but goes away after driving, problem returns after standing over night.
-needs new brake shoes
-needs new upholstery
-needs new windscreen
-needs new tyres

Will post updates here as they come along

The cart has a shudder when pulling away, only happens once in the beginning of the day and then fine for the rest until the next time driven after standing for the night.

Removed motor to inspect, will require new brushes.

Hi Everyone,

I had the motor out and brushes replaced.

Although now when in forward the cart goes reverse, and when switched to reverse the cart goes forward. All wiring is exactly where it was before removing. It was labeled, and S1 & S2 are in the correct place. Am I missing something, how can it now be the opposite? Low on power in forward, but obviously 100% power in reverse.

Thank you in advance
