Default 2006 ezgo txt

Hello, I have a 2006 EZGO TXT that this winter I rebuilt the engine, new valves, bored, new pistons and rings. You guys helped me get some oil pressure issues worked out. We drove it around the yard a bunch this winter and spring and it run great! Now we get it out to go golfing, we drive it a 1/2 mile to the course and play 9 holes and it runs perfect, start a new 9 and it will not start, we have to pull the choke to a certain sweet spot to get to run for a few holes then it will start running fine. The other day as soon as we got on it to go to the course it was not running right again, we limped it through about 4 holes and the it cleared up. So it doesn't matter if its warm or cold. I'm thinking a weak coil? but honestly have no idea. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Could be flooding or starving. Next time it dies take the gas cap loose and try again. If that doesn’t help check the air intake for excess fuel.

I tried taking the cap off with no difference. We have replaced the fuel pump, filter, air filter. I have not cleaned the carb but I would think if it was plugged it would be plugged all the time not just every couple hours for a few minutes, but maybe I'm wrong?

Float could be sticking or blocked and flooding.

Also check the fuel pickup and line coming from the tank. Could have trash in it.

We have Replace the plugs with no difference and checked the dip tube in the tank still does it. We notice the oil is full of gas so now we are changing the carb and see what happens.

Oil with gas is either bad fuel pump or float stuck.

Now that we have changed the oil. It is not spraying oil across the head and has no vacuum off the crank case to run the fuel pump.
