Default Tips on new Cart

Waiting on my cart to be built and looking for any tips.
It’s a 2019 CC Tempo with 2021 Trojans 48V
They are installing navitas AC 5KW / 600A Kit
Standard lift kit, tires, seats, lights, etc

I’ve never had an AC cart before. Anything specific I should know about or pay attention to?

Solenoid sizing is still confusing me. I THINK they are installing an Albright HD solenoid with 200A continuous and 500A peak.
We are using the cart to cruise flat Louisiana neighborhood at 15-20mph. Is there any reason id need a larger solenoid?

That solenoid should be fine.

Depending on your wheel size it will probably run in the mid 30mph range.
Upgrade your brakes if you’re going to run at speeds like that.

I hope they’re upgrading the battery cables as well.

Yah 30mph is way too fast for me!! I’m used to max speed of 15. We are putting 4G cables on whole thing. I may upgrade to 2G if I notice cables getting warm but I highly doubt they will
Cart will have 23x10x14 tires.

You are in for a very pleasant surprise. AC carts are amazing. You can run them up to holy crap fast and the torque, wow! No different than any other cart. Make sure to keep it on charger when sitting and batteries watered. Have fun
