Faster?
I have a Shuttle 6 with a 600A Navitas kit with the motor and speed controller. I have 22" tires on it, lifted 5". I also have 4 Eagle batteries from Bigbattery.com.
I can get it up to about 28-30mph. Any advice on how to make it go faster? I want to hit 40mph. I'm not sure if my Navitas is setup correctly or if I'm just at the system's limit? Also, will a solenoid hinder the power? I believe it's pretty high amperage one. I didn't install the Navitas system myself. Thanks for the help! |

Re: Faster?
not trying to be an smart a.. really, just wondering?
will you be able to stop as fast as you want to go? I admit I not very knowledgeable about carts that's why I am wondering if the breaks on a heavy stretch cart can do the job? |

Re: Faster?
You could take a screenshot of the current settings in the Navitas app...

Re: Faster?
Try changing the rear axle ratio to a higher number maybe like 16 or 17. It tricks the controller.
And just remember, SPEED KILLS! So add brakes on the front if you don’t already have them. |

How do I change the rear axle ratio? I have experience with everything except that. |

Re: Faster?
Forward speed setting 55 mph ok, it's your life... the Dashboard speedo shows 50 mph range, so that dosn't match. Tire diameter setting 24" ( instead of 22" ). To. change single values, overwrite them, tap "enter" and then "save" at the bottom of the screen. As far as i know, Navitas motors are limited to 9000 rpm, so probably anything above will be ignored?

Well, not really. It's a 6 seater cart on public roads so really it's his life, the lives of his passengers, and anybody who gets in their way. It's a bad idea. |

Re: Faster?
I agree... i really like the possibility to choose the speed by myself, but i know, i'm responsible for that. After testing 36 mph max (pretty fast) i've reduced my setting to 30mph (still fast).
Btw 55 mph with a golfcart would be beyond of my imagination... |
