![]() So here is the info i’ve been able to find.
In the 1963-80 gas manual: Sec 4 pg 4, figure 4b-43. #20a needle bearing, late 64( looking for the sleeve on the outside) In the 1963-81 gs parts book i have: Page 9, part 29 in pic, Part#’s are: 36462-64 needle bearing sleeve assembly (64 to 66) 36462-67 (67 to present) If i could find just the outside sleeve dimensions or drawing i could build my own. |

.78" L 1.5" OD 1.368 ID (difficult for me to measure, so your bearing OD should dictate) In case you don't have an old one, I'll note that this sleeve captures the bearing between two oil seals. Good Luck! |

Looks like the seals are backwards to what i usually see on other things. Wasn’t sure which way they went in. Thanks again. Here is what i was able to find for bearings & seals according to the inner race i had. Seal: National brand pt# 340815 Bearing: BA188Z |

The seal on the opposite side is ALSO inserted opposite, so both seals face in the same direction. |

![]() Update: was measuring up parts last night, i found i have to change sleeve dimensions to a different size.
New outer sleeve size with seals i was able to find: 1.00” wide 1.368” I.D. 1.55” O.D. same diameter as Primary Floating sleeve (one with felt). 340815 seal is 1.5” 1.03” Original primary inner sleeve Once i build one i’ll post a pic. |
