Manifold should arrive this week and I hope it's what I can use. Going to wire wheel the surface and spray it with high temp primer and paint

Manifold bolts are M8 x 1.25, either 18MM or 20MM long

I have new gaskets and Ultra Copper RTV

Ok so the red wire goes to the battery, since It's the battery charge wire. Can it also go to the same post on the starter solenoid that is connected to the big red battery wire? Or direct to the battery is better?

Should the starter solenoid have a ground wire to the frame or to the battery?

If the solenoid is on the engine, then no other connection is needed. You will need a ground cable from the engine to the battery though, I typically use one of the main engine mounting bolts. Some will also ground the frame of the cart to the battery as well.

The 692061 has a significant drop down pipe after the cylinders

Well I guess the "neck" on the 805609 is too short and the radius bends put the pipe too close to the block and it hits the oil dipstick tube....and the flange is 1/2" away from the heads

The 691501 seems to have longer bends and a longer mounting neck

I found the 691501 open box and if should be here this week. Hopefully it clears everything and I can start to mock up the exhaust

Anti seize on the manifold bolts or Loctite 242?

What head style and why? I think hex head would give the most tightening capability

Well the new manifold fits , but also created another issue I have to deal with

The dipstick tube was still in the way so I removed the single mounting bolt abd spun the tube around so it would clear the manifold

However, the bracket is nowhere close to anything and I found there's a different tube with a different mounting bracket location

It's $15 so I ordered it
