About to buy 2017 Yamaha Dr 2 EFI
hello everyone,
Need some guidance on Yamaha 2017 drive 2 EFI with less then 500 miles! I am tempted to buy this cart from a dealership and wants to know how do you determine the age of the cart ? Is it by hours or miles (sorry, I am complete newbie to the golf carts)? Also what questions should I ask before I pursue to buy this? I will be using this cart as a street legal cart for my family! Thank you |

Less than 500 miles is very good. Around here, it's common for privately owned carts to get well over 1000 miles a year.
Also, if it's a 2017, the 4th character of the serial number would be a "0". Serial number is just below the seat under the driver. I would also look for a red paint dot & a white paint dot next to the serial number tag. That would indicate both important recalls have been completed. |

Verify brake cables have been changed out (not the bandaid clip fix), the accelerator return spring has been changed. If a hinged windshield, make shure it has been upgraded to the new design. I would also ask if the brake shoes have been upgraded.
