![]() I am three years older than this car and worked on a few of these back in the 60's and 70's. So much easier than those we drive today. My family were Ford people but I still liked the Chevy's. No telling how many cars and trucks I have owned in my lifetime. My brother and I grew up working in our dads shop and we were always finding deals to fix up and sell. I now own that shop and still work there everyday. Cool place to hang out in my old age ![]() |

![]() While still in the Air Force after returning from overseas I bought a new 1970 Road Runner . I was home on leave .
Why did I sell it ? Later that year I met girl close to the base I was stationed at and we ended up getting married. She tried her best to shift that three speed in the floor and just couldn't do it. I did keep it two years after we married but I sold it in 1972 . I still got my wife ![]() ![]() Here it is the day I bought it in front of the shop I own today. ![]() |
