Anyone have any experience with Evolution Forester golf cart or Icons?

I’m on the Evolution owners FB page and there have been some problems with the batteries. Some carts will shut down with over 50% battery power left. Others have electrical glitches with cause the speedometer and battery charge indicator to flicker on and off. Sometimes resetting the battery will fix the problem, but I see a lot of folks need to take their carts in and get their BMS flashed or reset. Some have had to get completely new batteries.

Some were probably bad batteries while other problems were blamed on dealerships not knowing how to program the batteries correctly. Another point of contention is that Evolution has said that their warranty only covers parts and not labor. However, nearly all of the dealers on the site say that they cover labor. I guess it all depends on the dealership.

I have yet to see anybody say that they weren’t able to get their issues fixed under warranty. It’s just a pain to take your new cart into the dealership.
