Default Jakes long travel question 97 ezgo

I have a 97 gas txt which has a jakes 5inch drop axle lift, however the steering is horrible , it wants to wander all over the road. I have adjusted the toe in which helped but its still not very good . With the front of the cart off the ground it seems there is some play in the tie rods and the spindles have play up & down as well . If I had the jakes long travel kit 6210 would this correct my steering problems, or does this kit reuse the same steering box ,tie rods & spindles that are on the cart know ?
Thanks Scott

The jakes long travel reuses every bit of your old steering.

All Sports also has a 5" dropped axle that comes with spindles, so you don't have to use them spindle arm extensions, little cheaper.

Are you sure what parts are bad on your steering? I'd think you should be able to correct that "wandering" if it's a bad tie rod, those aren't too expensive. If your steering parts are in good shape, then the Jakes will be fine. LT setups are notorious for having better steering because of the absence of bump steer. They are vastly superior over stock suspensions.

I think the kits for the earlier models are different. The steering column and rack are different for sure.

You will notice a vast improvement, even if your stock steering parts were in good order it would be better. Ride will be better, steering will be better, handling better.....nice choice, well worth the cash!

Post up some pics of the build if you can!!!!
