89 Marathon Starter Generator

I recently picked up a 89 ezgo for 125$ can and i remember seeing a test you can do to see if the starter runs or not. this thing hasnt been running in a bit so i was just seeing kinda what it all needs.

Welcome to BGW

With a good battery jump the two large terminals on the solenoid and the starter motor should turn you have to be in forward or reverse.

Sorry why not just install a good battery and give it a try, Place it in forward and hit the pedal. If it cranks you've past the test. Generator on or off the engine?
