1986 ezgo engine rebuild
Can anyone tell me if I should rebuild my 1986 engine or by a new motor. Just quit running the other day backfired and that was it.The crankshaft seal is still in so what could it be.

Re: 1986 ezgo engine rebuild
the backfire might have damaged the diaphram fuel pump. Pull the line off the carb and see if it spits out fuel when trying to start.
