1989 3pg air inlet hose - can't find one
I am having trouble finding the tube that goes from the carb to the air filter on my 1989 marathon 2pg. Mine is duct taped and im assuming leaking from the previous owner. In the service manual it is called an "air inlet hose"
I have googled quite a bit and found nothing. Does anybody have a part number? I'm assuming they don't have selectable part diagrams anywhere online for these older carts thanks |

Part number is 22335-G1. I checked Ebay but didn't see any. Maybe someone will be along that has a spare they can sell you.
Does it look like this one? Check out this post. Maybe give you some ideas? http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...83-i-part.html |

that is the part, thanks for finding it. I was hoping to find the original but I suppose bending/stretching some kind of rubber hose could work. thanks

part number brings up nothing on google either.... this is frustrating. Went to home depot and they had that pool hose but it was only in 1.5"
Does anybody know if clear polyurethane hose woudl work? I know I can bend it that way if I heat it..... or some other kind of pliable rubber hose? Sucks that its 2 different sizes at each end as well. Was reading about guys eliminating the entire air box system and having a pod filter but I don't want to re jet this thing either |

I got a junked out 1989 in the back of my shop. Let me look tomorrow and see what I got left on it. Tom

You could always use PVC and silicone couplers at either end. Build a giant snorkel and let it open up near the roof and you're ready for an adventure!
