Thank you for putting the oil pump cover and light blanks in the mail for me. SUPER nice of you.

Ran the old girl around some more today and all is well. Oil pressure is stable with engine rpm.

The wrangler has some Nilight lights on it and they are great. Found a 12 inch light bar that might fill the gaps at night. Did not think to look for "flush mount " .....this might do it.

OEM is my best choice just to make it work and look pretty...
For an " ugly duckling " she sure did turn out nice. Going to find her a new name too!

I've used many of the 12" nilight led bars. They first PERFECTLY on the club car DS front bumper and are 10x brighter than the headlights in the light kits. If I get one that the front corners of the cowl are crappy then I'll install a light kit, but otherwise I prefer these because they dont cut up the cowl and so much brighter.

I dont recall what I mounted it to, I'd have to go out and look. but I put one on the front of my TXT too, tucked up underneath. Its out of the way so it doesnt get beat up and works perfectly there.

Interested in seeing what kind of numbers it makes.
Have you done put it back together ? I would like to see how you plumbed the line and still use the original sending unit. Did you use a copper line and not the plastic one ? I just don't trust those for some reason. When I installed these gauges on vehicles I always used copper and never once had one break. I am thinking about doing this on one of my ezgo's but then again I may not. Heck the golf course I worked at we had 50 carts and none had anything. We never lost an engine in the 16 years I worked there. Anyway if you can put us a picture on here I would just like to see it.

Never mind. I don't think I will be installing anything other than the light. Too much trouble plus this cart of mine has no issues with oil pressure.

Taa Daa!..
CP241 sent me his oil pressure cover and a couple more items and we are on line. Oil pressure is at 35 Psi with coil unplugged and SO HAPPY that it works.

Interesting note... the donor cover is slightly thicker than the original one I took off. The original looked like a stamped sheet metal part. The new one was rigid. Did the flashlight test with a straight edge and it is FLAT.

On the road again....okay....snow covered it is.

That cover came from a pre-MCI 295. Might explain the difference in thickness and better material

Got to go back up there. We are really wet here West of Maybe

Blind Old Coot, it always good to hear about a good ending to a problem.

Glad CP241 was able to get you the part.

I got a few of those oil pump covers in the shop but I don't remember where I put them

I got to go limber up and get back to roof patrol tomorrow.
