Vegas Carts 460 kit on Ezgo Marathon
Anyone use one of these kits on a marathon yet?

Yes I did On my 93 Marathon and I say it can't be beat with any other clone engine. Vegas Carts customer support is #1 to me.

I don't know the top speed exactly, but it's much faster than stock with a lot more power on the lo end.

Top speed will depend on your gearing, tire size, and engine rpm. Most carts with 22" tires and stock gearing will do 30 mph at around 5000 rpm. Cruising mph will be in the 22-25 mph at 4000 rpm.
Larger tires = more top speed. High speed gears = more top speed. More rpm = more top speed. |

My G14 with stock gearing and 24" tires does 40.3 mph @ 5200 rpms. Don't know how ezgo's gearing compares to yamaha.AND the current VC 460 can easily turn another 1000 rpms over my earlier 460 which should put that number past 50 mph.

We run pit vehicle races at the drag strip and my 22in tires with the 350 ran 23mph. Stock gearing. I want to get more. I am looking to have the fastest cart down there lol. My 460 engine arrived today and the cradle will be here on Wednesday. Can you put different gears in an ezgo?

I have a smoking 460 from beating on it to early and doing wheelies I think I took out the oil scraper |
