86 EZGO engine rebuild
New member. Just bought an ok running 86 EZGO gas and am going to rebuild and customize. Do i just go with a top end rebuild, or should I go with the crank also rebuild? About a $175 difference in parts. Advantages??

Re: 86 EZGO engine rebuild
Get it set on some jack stands.
Then have someone run it at a steady low speed and spray some starting fluid behind the clutch at the crank seal. If the engine revs up the crank seals are worn out. If it don't I would just rebuild the top end Remember to end gap the rings and put the rings in the right side up |
