Re: What did you do to/for your club car today?
It's just an old Garmin Nuvi 660 with a snap in suction cup mount. I think I last updated the maps in 2009.
I just had a cigarette lighter extension socket and cut the adapter off and wired it to my fuse box mounted under the seat that goes to my 48 to 12v converter on a 15Amp fuse. And then tucked it all in the left locking dashboard compartment. That also gives me something to plug in my 12V portable air compressor or a USB device to now until I get a dashmount USB. |

What did you do to/for your club car today?
I decided to hold off on the hitch solution and prioritize safety.
My old rear seat had plastic mounts for the seat back originally that were cracked and I could not identify the seat (not that I think I could find exact replacement parts it is so old). But it turns out the MadJax Genesis 250 had a perfect seat mount replacement made of steel and sold a parts only kit. The mounts worked perfectly but I also got a few bags of extra bolts and screws for the MadJax along with a really nice grab bar. Not having a grab bar I used scrap metal and brackets I found in my shed and made a prototype grab bar mount. Now I need to rough out the edges and spray it black. My goal was to make it work with the flip down seat but not stick out too far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nothing yet, but just bought a lift kit from a board member (hopefully will ship out today) and purchasing some wheels/tires to go with the lift.
Got a 6" Lift by Jakes and looking at 12" wheels with 23" all terrain tires. |

Removed a helper spring to try and compensate for Lithium battery weight difference.

Re: What did you do to/for your club car today?
So yesterday my '02 DS IQ didn't kick the charger on. No click, nothing doing anything. Read the stickies on charging troubleshooting this afternoon. Rode it to the neighbors for dinner and when I got home plugged it in again and still nothing. Reached down and grabbed the gray wire on the back of the charge receptacle and it slid out of the receptacle with zero effort. New receptacle ordered tonight. Also ordered some new 2 ga. battery to battery cables as one of the old ones was starting to look pregnant at one end.
