Club Car DS problem
I have an older Club Car DS with a 1 year old 36 volt motor and 2 year old batteries, the problem I am having is the cart runs well in reverse.
Beginning yesterday in forward it will either creep real slow and eventually get up to speed or not move at all? I cant be 100 % sure all the batteries are charging as they should be but would that matter since the cart moves well in reverse and not forward? Lookind for some trouble shooting idea's? Thanks |

Re: Club Car DS problem
it only needs 18 volts for reverse so you could have a battery problem..............start by testing batteries and checking cables, is this a 5 solenoid resistor cart or what? check voltage of each battery and load test each one, write #,s down and post them if your not sure .................check all cables make sure they are all tight and clean connections...........................

Re: Club Car DS problem
Thanks for the reply.
is this a 5 solenoid resistor cart - YES. Going to check batteries tonight. Is it possible to refresh batteries or are they junk once they begin to fail? |
