Default AM10039 Motor Centering Kit installation instructions

Looked around but I can seem to find any install instructions and the order of the components for the centering kit, kit is labeled bulk and did not include the instructions it’s supposed to come with.

Possibly someone scan them and post them? I know most you out can do this in your sleep, but this is my first go at it !

Thanks.

I'm sure they made some directions for it, but I've never seen any.

So it goes first on the input shaft:
round washer
spring
spline washer
rubber washer, cone side out
then the rubber plug goes in the motor coupler. If it has an old one stuck in it make sure to pull it out with a small screwdriver/pick.

It's a good idea to replace the bearing but that requires removing the end cap from the motor to access the brushes, and then the bearing has to be pressed off and back on. If you have a small jaw puller that should work fine to remove the old bearing and the new one can be tapped on with a socket and hammer. Be sure to not damage the speed magnet on the end of the armature.

Fairtax4me

Just you clarify for the rubber washer.

The "tip/pointy end" of the cone points toward the motor?

I have not get the kit yet, but just wanted to make sure.

Yes, the cone side goes towards the motor.

The flat side of the rubber washer will be against the flat on the splined washer.
