Default Wiring a turn signal indicator?

Trying to make this as simple as possible-just want to have an led in the dash to pop on and off when the turn signals are active. I don’t want one for each signal, just one for both. How would you wire that without causing an issue?

2013 Electric RXV
Thank you!

would be easier to install duel arrow indicaters,,,but if you must go with the one you would need to install diode to left and right power wire to indicator.

Ah, well if it’s easier that way, so be it. Not trying to overcomplicate this. Aware of any write ups or anything? Searched, but is it as easy as finding each wire tapping into it and running a ground?

You can do a single indicator very easily. Just as easy, or easier than doing both sides. On the oem system, you tap into the brown wire for B- & the yellow wire on the flasher for "flashing B+"

I opted for the outside mirrors that have the turn siginal lights built in them front and backside. wasn't 100% sure i would like them but after the install it's growing on me.

I likewise have the LED turn signal mirrors. I love them as they are easy for me to see and notice turn signal on and they make me more visible to others.
