Default 2008 XRT 800 FE 290 fuel problems

I have a 2008 XRT 800 with the FE 290 motor. I am having problems with it getting fuel. I tried 3 fuel pumps and 2 carbs, replace the vacuum line and fuel lines. Also made sure the pickup line wasn’t clogged. Seems like I am not getting enough vacuum for the pump. Not sure what else to do. Please any help would be great.

The fuel pump works on a pressure pulse from the engine. The pulse line has to be clean, clear and has to be just the right length so it runs up-hill from the engine all the way to the pump. If it droops down in the middle it will fill with oil and will be blocked. Make sure it goes up-hill the whole way to the pump, but it still has just a little bit of wiggle so it doesn't get yanked off when the engine moves around.

Also check the nipple on the engine for blockage from oil sludge or carbon buildup.

Also check the vent line for the fuel tank and make sure it is not blocked. A blocked vent can create vacuum in the tank and prevent fuel getting out.
And check the pickup tube for obstruction or for leaking around where the tube is glued to the fitting at the top. The pickup tube can't have any leaks or it will feed air into the lines rather than fuel.
