Ezgo dcs the solenoid never click but cart runs?

Ive tried two different solenoids. I know this cant be good. Any help

Ive check the pedal microswitch its good.

Check voltage across the solenoid - both cart "off" and on with pedal switch engaged (on stands). Some are very quiet and you may not HEAR a click, but they still engage and disengage.

Does the cart still run with the key switch "off"?

Small posts are the circuit that engages the solenoid: + supplied through the key switch and pedal switch on one side, ground on the other. What you are checking for is continuity across the big posts. One side is + from the batteries, the other is power out to the controller. Measure voltage across the big terminals. You should have a slight voltage difference between them when the cart is off , but no difference when the key is on and pedal is pushed. If both sides of the solenoid stay exactly the same voltage, on or off, it indicates a stuck solenoid. If that's the case it would drive even with the key switch off.

Okay i have the same voltage on both big post but it only drives with key on.

Both Small posts have battery pack when key is on. Cart moves when i push pedal

Well i tried to drive it like this but got few feet and stopped. Pretty sure solenoid out now. I only have full battery pack on battery side. But still full battery on both small terminals.

When it went just a few feet and stopped, was that with the key switch on or off?

Key was on. It woukdnt run with key off
