95 club car ds wont move new batteries
i have a 95 club car ive put new batteries on it and now all i get is when i turn key on is a click from a selenoid. batteries all show fully charged and all wired up correct. cart ran fine just put new batteries in it and dont run now.i have power to fnr switch and you can hear buzzer in reverse.cart wont move at all and wont even attempt to move.it has 2 selenoids under seat and one clicks when key comes on the other i was told powers up when you press microswitch when pressing pedal.

Re: 95 club car ds wont move new batteries
if it ran before hand and all you did was swap batteries triple check everything you did.......you need to see what solenoid is clicking the main or the reagan.......the main is what you need the reagan solenoid will have a big coil mounted either above it or in front of it.......................lots of times thats the one clicking when you turn key on..................................

I'll bite, if it's a series cart why does it have 2 solenoids? Maybe somebody modified it or it is not a 95?

Re: 95 club car ds wont move new batteries
Okay a question and then some help here.
Regen carts were not made until 97 I believe, but if you have regen then the main solenoid is closest to the controller..... it needs 48v present at the 2 small terminals to engage and allow 48v to reach the controller... so concentrate on the power from the key to the F&R micro switch(MS) to the solenoid activation. Hope this helps |
