motor options??
i just recently bought and installed a dcx400 controller, hd solenoid and 4 ga cables from scottyb. the cart is a 99 txt dcs with a stock motor as of now. i was just wondering what motor options i could go with. it has stock wheels now but im ordering a lift and 23" tires next week. im mostly just gnna be riding around on paths and occasionally pull a few things. i want to keep torque but mostly gain some mph if possible.

Re: motor options??
With the 400DCX control and the 23 inch tires you should be hitting about 22-23mph on the flats. How fast do you want to go?

Re: motor options??
I was figuring around 22-23 after tires. I don't have a set number in mind lol, prob should have done that first. I want to stay around 25-30 being its not gnna b a highway cart n ill need to keep the torque up. I wouldn't mind spending the money to really get it flying but it want suit what I need.

Re: motor options??
my .02 - I went with D&D and am really very happy. Looked at Plum as well but like the idea that I could keep my old motor - ended up selling it to put towards the upgrades

Re: motor options??
You're not lifted, but do have a rear seat - that could be why. Give them a call, let them know exactly what you plan on doing to and with the cart - they'll take good care of you.

Re: motor options??
I'll check with them and with pq. Gotta do a lil research now. I was reading on the website and they were talkin bout motors for 300 amp controllers and mine is 400, does that mean I can't run those motors?? Or??
