How do you put a cart in maintence mode? Thanks

On my 01 ds, there is a yellow round pice on the back side of the forward and reverse handle. It's spring loaded. Take two fingers and pull it out twards the motor and then turn it half way around were the one hump is holding up the out side switch only.

yes just pull the yellow knob out rotate about 180 degrees and let it go than put your lever in the center your cart will start in nueltral but you won,t start in drive or reverse.......when done pull knob and put back where it was and you,ll be able to start in gear again..............................
