G9 Electric Fwd faster than reverse.
Hi all, I have a G9 electric, the cart runs fine but the forward speed is slower than the reverse speed. I have checked the wiring, fwd/reverse switch and the micro switches. All are OK. I have been told that the micro switch is designed to make the cart run at half speed in reverse only. The only half speed is in forward. I have tried switching the wires on the micro switch, it either doesn't run or makes no difference.
Is it possible to switch the cables that run to the motor? Would this have any effect on the motor or controller? Can someone shed some light on this please. It starting to get annoying. |

Re: G9 Electric Fwd faster than reverse.
You can switch the feild wires and it will run reverse....but then I think you'll need to swap the same F/R wires to correct the direction. Worth a shot no more work than it is.
