Default Cushman Help, New Batteries, Cart wont move

Hello, New to the forum but hoping someone might be able to help.

I have a Cushman Utility cart, probably about 10 years old. It was running great before I parked if for 2 years in a container in Texas.

I charged the batteries about 6 months ago and it ran for about 300 - 400 feet before the batteries died. I was just visiting so I put it back in the container until this week.

I figured the batteries were toast so I bought new ones and installed them before trying anything else. I was very careful to wire it up correctly just as it was before when it ran good. (I replaced 1 battery at a time to be sure I got it right)

Everything seems to work but the cart won't move. The lights and horn work and the Hydraulic dump bed works. When I put the cart in Forward I get nothing. When I put it in reverse I get a steady buzzer tone and it won't move either.

I checked the voltage coming from the batteries and get at least 37 volts so that seems to be good.

One other note that I am not sure makes a difference or not but figured its worth mentioning. I bought the cart used and the 36v charger seems to work intermittently. When I plug it in it doesn’t show anything on the meter or make any noise. In the past if I left it plugged in overnight the charger would usually kick in at some point and charge the cart. I went through online videos on how to disassemble and test the charger and it seemed to be ok although I don’t know if that is accurate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I there doesn’t seem to be a good option for service anywhere near where I am in rural Texas. Thanks in advance
