ok looking for some advice or some parts
i have a g-16 limo with a 27hp kohler in it and have snapped 2 axle shafts on the last snap i took a tooth of one of the spider gears. i run around 1/2 on road and 1/2 off should i weld the gears or try and find new ones which i haven't had any luck with (sorry can't figure out how to post pics)

Welcome to BGW
( let the forum host the picture. ) click "Go Advanced" then click "Manage Attachments" click "Choose" in the pop-up window select the file(s) from your computer click "Upload" close pop-up after files complete uploading. click "Submit Reply" "Go Advanced"  "Manage Attachments"  "Choose"- click on what you want to post, - then click -"Upload" wait a few sec, then click ( submit Reply )  |

What clutches are you running on the drive and driven?

comet on the drive and stock on the rear have a rebuild kit for the rear that i'm putting on now

Hmmmm..Thats alot of HP for the stock driven, But I guess you know that.
 I'm running a 23hp Kohler with a stock driven clutch and at times I thought it was going to snap. I adjusted the drive for a smoother start (so far ok)  good luck |
