Default 94 yamaha 36volt convert to 48volt?

I have a 94? yamaha 36 volt golf cart and i was wondering if anyone converted them to 48 volts. What does it need to do this? I have a set of 6 6volt batteries and a set of 6 8V batteries and cant decide what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Ok did a little research and found out it's a 92 Yamaha G9 cart. I've been charging up the 8 volt and the 6 volt batteries with suprising results. One of the 6 volts is weak but what would happen if I put one 8 volt in place of a 6 volt battery?

Well I'm 5 for 5 on refurbishing batterys. I dropped the 6th one and cracked the case. Now I have 5-6 volts and 6-8volts to chose from. So I'm happy with the fact that all the batteries worked out great except the one i dropped. I'm going to check with the local scrap yard and see if they have any 6 volt trogens i can rebuild. It will be nice to have the golf cart back.

I guess i'll run one 8 volt on it untill i can get a 6 volt.
